Authentic chalets
Our inspiration comes from the stunning vintage chalets of the Alpine regions of Europe, especially the Haute Savoie of Eastern France. The villages around Chamonix and further south towards La Rosiere and Val D'Isere have retained a signature style and irresistible charm while we’re now bringing to Niseko using the world-class craftsmanship, raw materials and build quality of Japan.
A connection with the past
In an abandoned ski station in Cervinia in Italy’s Valle d'Aosta we found vintage posters of the world’s best resorts – St Moritz, Aspen, Courchevel and others. The wonderfully evocative feel of these handpainted pieces of marketing provoked a desire to tap a similar retro spirit with SnowDog Chalets.
